Students will have a 30 minute one on one session with Lavia Graham. During meditation, students will learn about holistic health, meditation breath work, sound healing, self-love, self-esteem, gratitude, and compassion. What is Meditation •Meditation- is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. •Practicing mindful meditation teaches you to pay attention to your chattering thoughts, to know them, to listen to them, to understand them. •With each session, you become more familiar with how thoughts behave, their habits, their good sides, their bad sides, their triggers, their quirks, what makes them tick. •Taming the mind will make you an infinitely calmer, much happier person, free from fear, worry, and anxiety.
